Bad Now? Wait they have Nukes!

February 7, 2006 |

It’s about a cartoon they don’t like. Offensive? Perhaps, but a matter to kill, burn, main and threaten over? Hardly. In typical fashion Iran is waging its own war of cartoons. The topic? The Holocaust. An example of freedom of the press? Right… it’s Iran, remember. They don’t know what freedom of the press is.

The topic differs of course. One pokes fun at leaders who advocate violence. The other pokes fun at the victims of those who were violent. However, one similarity they share is that both sides consider the others story fictional.

What is not fictional is that in the name of religion they are demanding respect for their right to be violent when outraged. In one outbreak there were some Muslim leaders urging the crowd to disperse… after the violence already had begun to die down.

Some Muslim clerics helped to persuade the crowd to disperse as the violence died down, the BBC’s Jim Muir reports from the scene.

In the meantime, Iran’s best friend, Syria is all to eager to fan the flames at a time of a new democracy arising from the ashes of dictatorship all too friendly with Muslim radicals.

Meanwhile, radicals are calling for the murder of Danes, Frenchman or Westerner by the hands of Muslims.

‘Every muslim must kill a Dane, a Frenchman or another Westerner’ chanted the crowd.

There is no reason. No courteous dialog. If all they have is weapons any modern nation can defeat and they act this way… what will they do when they have the button to push?

Michelle Malkin states it best in her post’s title, We are in this together. You might add we are in this together whether we like or not. If nothing is done we will have to say, “Wait, they have nukes. What can we do?”
