Left’s Take: Cheney Goes off half-cocked

It turned out to be a minor hunting accident. Thankfully no one was killed and apparently Austin lawyer Harry Whittington, 78 will recover.
It didn’t take Sarah and James Brady to make comments about the incident.
“Now I understand why Dick Cheney keeps asking me to go hunting with him,” said Jim Brady. “I had a friend once who accidentally shot pellets into his dog - and I thought he was an idiot.”
“I’ve thought Cheney was scary for a long time,” Sarah Brady said. “Now I know I was right to be nervous.
I imagine that Dan Quayle might be thankful that he didn’t attend the hunting trip. On the other hand I imagine that the VP might have a hard time arranging a hunting trip with any Democrats who would still prefer to exchange verbal attacks minus the birdshot.
