Ahhhh… the old joke about the man from Mexico who went to a baseball game. He felt so welcomed because before the game the whole crowd stood to make sure he could see… “Jose, can you see?”

Now it appears that Illegal Immigration and its supporters will be taking our National Anthem and using it to promote the further breaking of our nation’s laws.

Mexican pop diva Gloria Trevi, Puerto Rican reggaeton Ivy Queen and Tito El Bambino and other Latino artists are recording a Spanish-language version of the U.S. national anthem in a show of support for migrants in the United States.

The Latino-oriented record label Urban Box Office (UBO) said Saturday it plans to release the new version of “The Star-Spangled Banner” to coincide with the U.S. Senate’s debate on immigration legislation next week.

Conservative Outpost points out that the proceeds will be going to breaking our laws.

How nice. They’re reworking the National Anthem in a foreign language to show solidarity with those who illegally cross our borders, break our laws, demand services and rights, (not to mention citizenship), and they’re going to give part of the profits to a group that promotes this lawlessness.

Michelle Malkin asks the most point question.

Whose anthem, whose flag, whose country is it, anyway?

Apparently they like this line from another famous song…. “This land is your land, this land is my land.”

Update: Your new National Anthem at Hot Air… hear the new version and lyrics.
