Milkman Shooter to Foley: Legacy of Abuse
October 4, 2006 |

Former Congressman Foley is revealed. I would dare say exposed but that leaves such a gross picture. But the grossness of his behavior is now for everyone to see. Open homosexual Foley has been caught having virutual sex during a House Vote.
ABC’s Brian Ross, who is to Mark Foley what Greta Van Susteren is to Natalee Holloway, has now uncovered more disturbing IM’s from the former Florida Congressman.
I’ll spare you lengthy excerpts. In it we learn two things, though: At least one of the teens seemed to enjoy Foley’s attention. And Foley’s spelling skills are less than superb.
Now it is clear that a priest abused Foley. I can only imagine how deep the problem has become due to such abuses.
Former Rep. Mark Foley was molested by a clergyman when he was between the ages of 13 and 15, his attorney said Tuesday amid allegations that the congressman exchanged inappropriate e-mails and instant messages with teen congressional pages.
Attorney David Roth said Foley had never had sexual contact with a minor and said any assertion that Foley is a pedophile is “categorically false.”
Roth would not release details of the alleged molestation, saying only that making it public “is part of Marks recovery” and that Foley would discuss it further when he is released from a center where he’s being treated for alcoholism and mental issues. It will be at least 30 days before he is discharged, Roth said.
Roth added that “Mark Foley wants you to know he is a gay man.”
On can only imagine what the wave of abuses in our culture will now produce for the next generation. Consider how insidious and invasive this behavior is. Something to consider the next time the Milkman comes knocking at your school door (remember he only rings twice… in this case I don’t think he bothered). Newsday reports.
QUARRYVILLE, Pa. — The gunman who killed five girls in an Amish schoolroom confided to his wife during the siege that he molested two relatives 20 years ago when he was boy and was tormented by dreams of doing it again, authorities said Tuesday.
Investigators also said that Charles Carl Roberts IV, 32, plotted his takeover of the school for nearly a week and that the items he brought — including flexible plastic ties, eyebolts and lubricating jelly — suggest he may have been planning to sexually assault the Amish girls before police closed in.
“It’s very possible that he intended to victimize these children in many ways prior to executing them and killing himself,” State Police Commissioner Jeffrey B. Miller said. But Roberts “became disorganized when we arrived,” and shot himself in the head.
Holding up a copy of the gunman’s suicide note at a packed news conference, Miller also suggested that Roberts was haunted by the death of his prematurely born daughter in 1997. The baby, Elise, died 20 minutes after being delivered, Miller said.
Elise’s death “changed my life forever,” the milk truck driver and father of three wrote to his wife. “I haven’t been the same since it affected me in a way I never felt possible. I am filled with so much hate, hate toward myself hate towards God and unimaginable emptiness it seems like every time we do something fun I think about how Elise wasn’t here to share it with us and I go right back to anger.”
Wizbang offers a nice tribute to this tragedy.
The Amish are frequently ignored or mocked for their unconventional beliefs and practices. This makes them easy targets for thugs and monsters, because the Amish are the most peaceful of pacifists, who refuse to condemn anyone, trusting in the Providence of a merciful God and quick to forgive. Do not be deceived by the quiet manner in which these people will bear the pain of today’s abomination - the Amish treasure their children above their own lives, and having given up so much of the material world they focus keenly on their family.
As deeply tragic the loss of these girls lives has been there remains an even deeper tragedy. A nation that has become filled with abuse and anger toward God and toward itself. The results of such will be felt in such events again. Not only was the Milkman haunted by his past we can’t help but be haunted as a nation at our present.

“Now it is clear that a priest abused Foley.”
Yes, an unnamed clergyman from an unnamed denomination… how very brave of Mr. Foley to come out and accuse everyone but himself… how very… liberal. It’s all about personal responsibility. You can blame the Catholic church, George W. Bush, Denny Hastert or whoever you want for the ills of the world. It all comes down to personal responsibility. The “Priest Scandal” involved a surprisingly small percentage of priests… surprising because the MSM wielded their might to slime the Church, as it fundamentally opposes a large part of their agenda. You may have also noticed that the phenomenon is nearly exclusively American. This would indicate that it is more closely tied to American subculture than Catholicism.
For the record, I despite it being overblown, I am in large part glad that this made front page news for a while… it opened an opportunity to get the bad priests out, and clean the culture of the American church.
